The Institute of Roofing (IoR) has appointed Faye Reynolds as a new PA to Kay Rose and administration support for the Institute.
With more than 10 years of experience in administration positions, Faye, from Suffolk, has experience in a number of roles, including for flat roofing manufacturer, Axter Ltd, acting as PA to technical sales, offering secretarial and administration support to the team. She was also promoted to trainee technical sales manager at Axter Ltd, providing invaluable knowledge and experience of the roofing industry.
In 2017, Faye joined Supreme Pet Foods Ltd, where she acquired account management experience alongside her sales and administration duties. Prior to starting at the IoR, Faye also previously worked as an office administrator at Northampton Crown and County Court, and as a barristers’ clerk at Cardinal Chambers in Ipswich.
In her new position at the IoR, Faye will provide support to CEO of the Institute, Kay Rose (FIoR), to help free some of her time to concentrate on delivering the IoR’s vision and objectives. Alongside day-to-day activities such as managing training, online and website improvement, invoicing and subscriptions, delivering meeting minutes and reactive communication between members; Faye will also work closely with the PR and social team to help deliver marketing communications, and look generally at improving current admin processes.
Speaking of her appointment at the IoR, Faye said: “This is a really exciting opportunity for me and I am most looking forward to working alongside Kay and the rest of the team to help move things forward for the Institute.
“There are lots of different elements to my role and my day-to-day duties will be quite varied. I have been given some key projects to focus on to help improve some of the systems in place. I am looking forward to taking these new challenges as my own, and streamlining processes to make them more straight forward. I’m very keen on helping the Institute achieve their goals, and supporting Kay as much as I can in the process.”
Kay Rose (FIoR), CEO of the IoR, added: “We are more than delighted to be welcoming Faye to the IoR. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in administration support, and she has a keen eye for detail which will be vital for what we have planned for the Institute.
“I have known Faye for many years as we worked together during my time at Axter Ltd, so I know her skillset and experience is exceptional, and she is an absolute delight to work with. Her appointment further strengthens the IoR team, which is another positive step towards achieving our goals and future growth for the IoR.”
