Graeme Millar – Chair

Graeme is a Fellowship Member and IoR Board member, holding this post since 2014.

Graeme’s experience in the construction sector spans 42 years, as he started his career as a trainee slater at William Millar and Sons in 1978. He is the fifth-generation roofing contractor in his family, as the line of slaters started in 1868. His high-profile career saw him serve as managing director of Bain and Irvine Ltd for 33 years, as well as managing partner for Graeme Millar Roofing Consultants for 20 years.

He is currently President and Head of Technical at the International Federation for the Roofing Trade (IFD), and former President of the National Federation of Roofing Contractors (NFRC).
