GRO - Green Roof Organisation

IMA - Insulation Manufacturers Association

Insulation Manufacturers Association (IMA) is the representative body for the Rigid Polyisocyanurate (PIR) and Polyurethane (PUR) Insulation Industry in the United Kingdom.

Their membership comprises all of the major companies in the industry, including manufacturers of finished PIR and PUR insulation products, suppliers of the various raw materials and associated services.

FTMRC - Federation of Traditional Metal Roofing Contractors

The FTMRC was developed as an organisation to act on behalf of its members in establishing and then raising quality standards in metal roof design, specification, installation and develop the industry standards Guide to Good Practice.

LCA - Lead Contractors Association

The LCA consists of specialist installer members and associate members maintaining and endorsing quality standards within the lead workers industry.

LRWA - Liquid Roofing & Waterproofing Association

LRWA consists of the leading manufacturers of liquid applied waterproofing, approved contractors and related materials suppliers. Founded in 1979, LRWA aims to raise awareness of the technical and financial benefits of specifying liquid-applied roofing and waterproofing systems and to establish product and installation best practice standards to ensure optimum performance is achieved.

MCRMA - Metal Cladding and Roofing Manufacturers Association

The MCRMA was formed in 1990 to support the systems manufacturers in the emerging metal cladding and roofing industry. Since then MCRMA has evolved to encompass the needs of component manufacturer suppliers, system installers, independent roofing and cladding inspectors plus industry support services providers, all providing independent building envelope solutions for metal-based roofing and cladding systems, products and services.

MGMA - Metal Gutters Manufacturers Association

The Metal Gutter Manufacturers Association was formed in 1994 to represent the leading manufacturers of metal rainwater systems. Membership of MGMA is open to all companies who manufacture and market metal rainwater systems, downpipes and their associated fittings. In addition, membership is open to those companies who provide a range of professional support services to the metal rainwater systems industry.

NFRC - National Federation of Roofing Contractors

One of the largest UK trade organization for roofing contractors, dedicated to training and education, technical consulting, business services and market promotion. NFRC actively ensures that all members offer high standards of workmanship and sound business practice through a strict code of practice and vetting procedure, including site inspections and adherence to Government endorsed standards. NFRC also operates the National Heritage Roofing Contractors Register.

RTA - Roof Tile Association

The Roof Tile Association represents the UK’s leading manufacturers of pitched roof solutions. We are the central representative body establishing a common viewpoint for clay and concrete roof tile manufacturers.

SPRA - The Single Ply Roofing Association

SPRA is the voice of the single ply roofing industry. SPRA is an increasingly influential voice in the roofing sector and is working in close co-operation with our sister trade associations to raise the overall profile of the UK roofing industry.

Trussed Rafter Association

The TRA is the respected voice of the trussed rafter and metal web joist industry in the UK and Ireland. They are committed to stringent standards of quality and service and set a professional benchmark for the industry.

Members include the principal manufacturers of trussed rafters, metal web joists, suppliers and professionals involved in roof and floor design and construction.
